Glessner House Museum, a National Historic Landmark, is widely regarded as the urban residential masterpiece of architect H. H. Richardson. Completed in 1887, the imposing rusticated granite exterior conceals a warm and inviting interior filled with original furnishings and a private courtyard designed to bring abundant natural light into the rooms.
